Got us daydreaming... YellowWood Adventures

May 27, 2020 by Oliver Gordon

YellowWood is a responsible adventure travel company creating off-the-beaten-track small group adventures in 8 countries — including Ethiopia, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia and Lebanon.

Featured in The Telegraph, The Times, CNN and NatGeo, YellowWood brings together people from all walks of life to travel responsibly in wondrous locations, supporting the communities they meet both directly and by partnering with local charities.

Particularly focused on nature, many of the adventures involve hiking or horse riding to some of the world's most rarified landscapes; while others are more culturally geared, with less of an emphasis on physical exercise — so you can always find something to suit your needs.

In fact, YellowWood's charismatic founder, Sam McManus, was a key source of insight for our Editor-in-Chief, Oliver, when he was exploring Ethiopia back in 2016🙏✊

Importantly, for every person who takes an international flight to one of its adventures, YellowWood plants 15 trees — via the charity WeForest — to help compensate for the carbon output.

Why not sign up to YellowWood's newsletter for some blissful doses of bittersweet wanderlust.
